Buster Buchko: Simply check your coverage's definition of pre-existing conditions. If unclear, check with the carrier. But, I'd say you are fine because pre-exisiting conditions are usually reserved for something really costly (especially something potentially long term) for the insurance company. So, if you've got coverage (self or group), you will be covered. Health insuracne is for the healthy. It is not for the sick. Get well!
Pamela Meno: It is a pre-existing condition and usually can't be covered for 12 months. Check with your insurance company and ask if they will cover it, it might b! e possible if the condition was considered minor in May.
