Why do you think Obama hates business, especially small business?

Oscar Waddups: LOL - I like your flimsy reasoning and the connections you make with no proof to back them up... Many of us were alive during the Clinton years, remember... I don't seem to remember any so-called "fear of citizens" nor do I remember hearing him "order" anyone to kill anyone else.Bill Clinton was considered "obsessed" with finding Osama bin Laden and bringing him to justice... but he was constantly denied by congress or other sources. So what if he was concerned with terrorism? Maybe with a guy like him in office we wouldn't have had 9/11 - After all it's been documented that Bush had the memo on his desk the August before that terrorists planned to attack us with planes... yet he did nothing to stop it.Ally: Yea, that's it. I saw Sarah Palin and said "there is a strong confident woman who stands for something. I am afraid of that and will have to cut her down constantly." And why? Not lack of qualifications, not a clear lack of knowledge of the issues at ha! nd, and not brazen stubbornness at the face of her clear incompetence... Nope. It was her few and fleeting virtues that made me not like her... I didn't even care that she was totally unprepared. I didn't like her being strong or confident... even though Obama is both of those things as well, but coupled with a clear understanding of the issues rather than an ignorance of them... I am just a walking paradox I guess, huh!

Tomi Vauters: Obama worked to pass a bill to cut taxes and provide hiring incentives for small businesses.Guess who blocked it?http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/business/71305...

Fermin Tara: reality: you are PAT

Nikita Schroepfer: Must just be in there DNA, Fear does unusal things to dems. They don'tdare own a business, they never risk there own capital in anything, theystand better than most in line waiting for a pay check. They follow inexperienced pied pipers far better than others, Just must be in therechemical makeup. Do they take ! and oath or something to be a followerthan a risk taker and le! ader,

Leora Klingelhoets: FDR felt a threat from Japanese Americans and imprisoned hundreds of thousands, Truman felt threatened by communism and Koreans, JFK invaded Cuba, LBJ -Vietnam, Carter- The threat of inflation and "global cooling" and he was once attacked by a rabbit while fishing [no lie], Clinton felt so threatened by citizens he ordered the ATF and FBI to shoot them and burn them at WACO and Ruby Ridge, Now we have MR Obama who appears to feel a threat from honest questions, reporters, scrutiny, global warming, and recessions....Show more

Mel Crapo: I find it's more important to work in the primaries. You can be more influential in who you get to vote for. That said, while voting is important, as it has been noted over the years all politics are local. Local races for congress and senate are dictated more by local politics than anything else. No matter how bad Eric Cantor maybe or get, he will always win his district because its overwhelmingly Repub! lican. As much as America hates Pelosi, and the fact she hasn't been a good leader for congress either. She will always win her district because its overwhelmingly Democratic. Until Americans put party labels behind them, and vote out the incumbents no matter what party, we will be stuck in this mess. Democrats need to vote in Republicans in heavily Democratic areas and vice versa.. when we finally work together for REAL change only then will real change happen....Show more

Georgianna Zollo: Everyone feels threatened by the recession. Global Warming threaten our future generations. And answering questions on an ongoing investigation is unethical.Bush had Weapons of mass distruction fear. Nixion had fear of losing an election. McCain used claims about Obama to strike fear in the hearts of voters.About the recession:And the claim that "The banks were forced to give loans to persons who could not pay them" is a crock too. For years Banks had been doing that all on their ! own. As long as the house prices were rising foreclosures were very pro! fitable for them. Giving bad loans was their way of "flipping houses" for profit. Once the housing bubble burst, and they began to lose money they get the politicians to who they contributed campaigning money to make the taxpayer cover their loses. Our politicans are at fault-both parties-for failing to regulate the loan practices-giving them the bail out. And now allowing their own automatic pay raises to kick in adds insult to injury to us dummy's who point fingers at each other. And yes, change the system is what is hoped for by voting for Obama. Two of my three representatives voted yes for the bail out which has not helped the economy in any way. They will not get my vote in the furture.

Gaylord Barragan: Personally I think the Dems and Repubs are all wanting bigger, clumsier, more expensive, nanny state socialist power lusting government (who both work for the same rich grey corporations in the end anyway). There is no correct answer I believe (I've been voting ! my whole adult life, so don't say "oh, your just part of the problem"). I think there really isn't any candidates who really want to do what is needed to fix our country. What do you think?

Curtis Josef:

May Stands: Some Republicans have suggested putting off the final bill until 2013 when a Republican president might be in office, but Lucas hinted that farmers are more likely to get a better bill when a president is facing re-election. Lucas said that, while he doesn’t consider the Obama White House oriented toward agriculture, the Bush White House didn’t focus on the issue either. Bush signed a farm bill before in 2002 when he was facing re-election, but didn’t sign it in 2008 when he was a lame duck and Congress had to pass it over his veto, Lucas noted. “We are better off to give the president a chance to sign a good farm bill before he goes out to the countryside,” Lucas added. Senate bill Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Debbie Stabenow, ! D-Mich., who has declined to set a deadline for finishing the bill, sai! d April 12 that it is her intention to write a 2012 bill...Show more

Jonie Lauria: Guilty Conscience? Well earned, I should add.

Joaquin Dronko: Obama hates business? That's news to me.

Jinny Dronen: Oh he did more...He called in the Mafia and put a hit out on every small business owner in the country. He also hired a group of evil Gremlins to sneak into small businesses bathrooms and shove toilet paper rolls into their toilets resulting in backed up toilets and poopy on the floors!Next year Obama plans on raising small businesses taxes so they have to pay 120% in taxes, that's right you heard it, 120%!!! OMG!!!!...Show more

Donovan Stallons: Bill Clinton was a wuss. Somalia , Hello! Obamination and Joe" Bite me" will have a feild day stripping the country down. Rep. and Dem are not perfect on either side. The Dems have held the upper hand for the last couple years and I am not better off at all.Philadelphia has had 3 Dem mayors and it is in a tailspi! n, Hmmmm? People fear what they cannot control(DEM). Free thinkers. Band wagon people are always at the Rallies, like an upcoming champion team in sports. When they lose the sour grapes come out as also finger pointing. Goverment elected officials work for me, you and so on. Do your job and do it right.

Hye Caulley: What encourages you to desperately lie to your fellow citizens like some type of schizophrenic lunatic? Is it drug abuse?

Ermelinda Stalnaker: You're FOS and you're LYING. You should be SUSPENDED.A big part of the Stimulus was FOR small businesses, and he's been trying to pass another bill targeted FOR small business. Republicans have been blocking it for TWO MONTHS."Obama blamed a “partisan minority” in the Senate for holding up the legislation to help small businesses. The bill, which has passed the House, would provide $12 billion in tax breaks and assistance to small businesses and $30 billion for small banks to encourage lending."This week he! proposed a package of $180 billion in business tax breaks and infrastr! ucture spending. That would come on top of the $814 billion stimulus measure enacted last year."...Show more

Nona Lentini: Because business and small business is what makes America great and anything that is good for America, he absolutely hates it..just like libs and those that support him

Stan Conley: Wait a second - xenophopia is republican platform.Don't try and flip the roles around to serve your own interests. How much do you want to bet that the ATF officers running the show in Waco were staunch shoot first republicans. As I understand the ATF poured diesel fuel into the air ducts and shot people as they were running out the front door.Waco was not a democrat or republican issue. It was a horrible blemish on America's human rights record the likes of which have not been met until Abu Graib.I shudder to think the warped view of history you will teach your children.

Boris Hadsall: Either that or Obama wants America to go down in flames - kinda like the ! Mulsims on 911 did!

Sherrill Botting: It is too early in the morning for me to pick off all of your examples one be one, but I will say this, you need to read a history book, do some research and use some legit sources for your homework because you are way out there!*******HIGH MOUNTAIN TRACKER***************You are looking at a democrat that is a business owner. Stop generalizing.

Somer Distilo: In today's world I do not think they feel threatened, they are doing just what they have planned for many years, to make this nation into a flock of sheeple!! and boy they sure have succeeded!! When you look around at all that's going on , you sure can see that we are a sinking ship!! and believe me its been in the plan for at least 50 or more years, it couldn't happen though, until all the people were conditioned to believe in the far,far lift, and become sympathizers to the lazy less fortunate, the writing is now on the wall, if you look hard enough, you can read be! tween the lines!!!!! socialism, entitlements, welfare,etc.etc.God bless! our nation...Show more

Bettye Arre: Cons and libs are never going to agree, we have completely opposing world views. I started to answer your question by enumerating all the cases where your assertions were either wrong or seriously spun or only a small part of the story; but it isn't worth it, you have asserted that dems are afraid and repubs are the Lone Ranger/Superman combo - have a ball. I would assert otherwise, and include other little factoids you have gee whiz somehow omitted from your list, but you would ignore what I said.Hope you're enjoying your little world but you should try to see things from another perspective. From another perspective for example, Fidel Castro defeated the US because his revolutionary government remained intact until he decided to step down. From another perspective, Eisenhower started with some troops in Viet Nam, JFK and LBJ escalated it, and Nixon went nutso with the secret bombings; all the stupid policians were afraid of "t! he red menace" Please also give examples of Obama's "fear" - I truly haven't seen that.

Lyndon Mattas: We get raped and pillaged regardless who gets into office. It's just that the Republicanse alot better at raping and pilpillaging classes of americans that are not upper class.

Jonie Lauria: I think deep down everybody knows it. Just don't participate in the fantasy. There are better things to do than vote.

Matt Tiry: Agree

Nelly Kikuchi: Well congress has a package of proposals he's sent them including tax breaks targeted specifically for small businesses which has the backing of the various small business associations, and yet the Republicans won't let it out of committee and have used various parlimentary techicalities to keep it from being approved. Why is that? Could it be Republicans would rather see Americans suffer than help them when they want nothing more than to win? Even if we get hurt in their crossfire? One does wonder, especially sinc! e many of these proposals were promoted by Republicans in the first pla! ce....Show more

Noah Deni: That was probably the best decision he made in the past 15 years.

Michel Mccaulley: Amen

Joellen Zorrilla: At the national level, especially the presidency, you are correct in that there is no difference between the two parties. One breaks your neck while the other slashes your throat. In the Senate the situation is also pretty dismal and the two parties serve only the federal tyranny. The solution begins with the voters, not the politicians. An uninformed electorate will vote itself into bondage every time.

Jene Kostyla: When one doesn't deal honestly with others there is a tendency to look over ones shoulder never knowing when the truth will come out. Democrats carry this burden knowing that if the voters ever put two and two together they won't have four more years of anything. Obama, much more than any before him in the presidency, has a lot of truth to hide. ....a LOT!

Caleb Chapman: I agree with you .

C! haris Deguzman: He got caught shop lifting in a Candy Store.

Ha Wolski: Here's what he understands: government and kickbacks. Big business gives Dems great kickbacks. But small business? Regular Americans just trying to make it? Forget about it.
