Frank Gazaway: We got married here in Texas in January and I know of at least 4 other weddings in my small town that month.....
Amina Motzer: Mine was. We were married 2/23/08, my sister was married 2/4/84. It probably depends on the climate in yoru area more than anything else. If you're in a colder climate, they're probably less often than in a milder or warm climate.
Josefine Weekey: There are alot in December I know. I am sure that is a peak month with the snow and Christmas. I am not sure about the other months, they may not be as peak. From personal experience though, most weddings I have attended were in summer. Good luck though
Ronny Nowzari: Depends on where you live. Where I live it gets very hot in summer and winters are lovely, so people get married in winter a lot. But I suppose in countries where it snows in winter it might be more popular to get married in summer. Good luck with your business plans. I'm sure you will get plenty of work all! year round.
Dallas Bartolini: I have been to many weddings in winter in Australia. I went to three in 2006 alone. My parents were married in winter and so were my fiancee's parents. I also went to one last year
Fred Caminita: We had ours in December. We live in Canada and I'm originally from Louisiana. I moved here to be with him. We have a huge sliding glass door on the second floor which is where we had the wedding. We had really simple decorations. Just some wedding bells and white streamers hung really pretty in front of the window. It was snowing outside and it was white and beautiful.
Freeman Rutkin: I agree that winter weddings depend a lot on location. In the Minneapolis-St. Paul magazine they are quoted to say 10% of all weddings are in the off-months (in Minnesota). If you are looking for a more generic US statistic:35% of weddings occur in the summer; 29% in the spring; 23% in the fall; 13% in the winter. (11% of winter weddings are Christmas! weddings)Other stats:MARRIAGES BY MONTHJanuary 4.7% February ! 7.0% March 6.1% April 7.4% May 9.8% June 10.8% July 9.7% August 10.2% September 9.6% October 9.4% November 7.4% December 7.8% Christmas...Show more
Inez Relihan: Weddings are not as popular in winter as they are in summer but are become more and more common as all wedding service providers offer low prices in winter to attract clients. I believe if you try the same strategy you will do well.Good Luck.
