Commute time from Corona to Laguna Hills?

Pei Heatherly: the drive to work wont be that bad. Can probably get there in about an hour or so. Coming home is a whole diffenet story. Probably take him a few hours and thats taking the toll road. The 91 is an absoult nightmare. Like the other peron said your gonna be putting alot of miles on the car. With gas prices and the toll road expense your looking at a bunch of money every month. I did construction in Laguna Beach and one guy i worked with lived in Corona. Its a LONG drive home!! I would look at somewhere closer. Check places like Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Tustin, Irvine, even some places in Santa Ana are nice. He wont like the drive, trust me. Plus that means less time with you (and the kids, if you have any). It'll be easy just to get something closer, but if you have to live out there then he's just gonna have to deal with it....Show more

Michel Mccaulley: After doing that commute for 6 months your husband will want to shoot himself. And you will be filling ! the car every second day and wearing out a new car every 2-3 years. The car expenses and about $9.00 a day in tolls will eat you alive and the 4 hours or more he will be spending on the road will take all the joy out of his life.Consider paying a little more for a city like Costa Mesa or Orange where you will save enough on car expenses to pay the extra cost for housing....Show more

Esmeralda Pigram: If you move to Corona, a nice community, you husband will need to start leaving the house at 5:00, or maybe even earlier. The 91 will be the biggest, slowest part of his commute. It's known as the "Corona Crawl".Contributor "Sun Shine" lives it that area, and if she responds she may be able to offer some locally known short cuts...Show more
