Are there any PDAs or smartphones you would recommend for a college student?

Lillie Yarde: Try the i-mate JAQ, founder Jim Morrison, company HQ in Dubai, manufactured in Taiwan. Can be bought for about $100-160, depending on where you buy from. I bought mine from e-bay. Works well, only setback is that the phone's loudspeaker is not really audible. For this price, I wouldn't complain. It has a touch pad, keypad, and a tiny joystick like thing like on HP computers. The outer casing is not all that durable as the likes of Nokia but if price is an issue, there's your phone. If price is not an issue, I'd go for a Blackberry....Show more

Keneth Mailhot: BlackBerry! Its wonderful! You can do everything on it and its pretty simple to use. I have a Storm, but there are so many out there just play around and find one that you like.

Toby Women: iPhone comes to mind. Many colleges have additional info, study guides, audio, video for classes though iTunes U. Even if your college may not have a lot or any classes, you can always get other th! ings from other colleges. I find it easy to navigate and you have internet, email, and everything you could need through the iTunes App store. Good luck!...Show more
