Is higher education at this age and recession a good decision?

Recession is the best time to get an education (may not be the cheapest), but it'll be a couple years before you get out of school and the markets will have settled and corrected themselves in some way before then.3. Tana Dumoulin: 1. way older people go to college. plus grad work is different. no need to feel weird there. 2. it's something that we cant avoid. im in college now and i think of it as an investment into the future. college is always expensive. 3. can you do part time? it's not a great time to leave a job. main question: are you happy where you are or does it bug you that you never finished your goals? overall, it's about what YOU want in life....Show more

Jesusita Dykhoff! : Thanks for your feedback. My biggest problem with parttime is it defeats the whole purpose of higher education. I believe that you must give you 100% to whatever you do. But by doing partime along side a full time job can not do justice. Especially grad work which requires intensive team work will not be available with part time.
