Codi Manchel: teach him greetings, like hello, how are you? and some replies to that (like good, bad, thanks and you?). teach him the alphabet and how to count. and pronouns, like je, tu, il, elle, etc. then some easy verbs, like aime and avoir. if he already knows those things, then maybe teach him how to express the time or the weather.
